Once we remove the teeth, we will take detailed digital images to create a 3D computer impression, which enables us to design and craft the prosthetic with precision and accuracy.
Crafting a Custom Prosthetic
Using the impressions and images we gathered, we will create a complete set of prosthetics tailored for your bite, ensuring a comfortable fit and a lifelike appearance. The prosthetic will contain new teeth set in an acrylic base, which is designed to look like gum tissue. The teeth will be created with a ceramic material, ensuring it can be shaded to blend with the smile and offer a lifelike appearance.
Removable and Implant-Secured
In many cases, the prosthetic will be removable, meaning it is held in place with suction of the lower arch, and a special adhesive for the upper one. This option lasts about 5 to 10 years, and needs to be replaced as the jaw ridge changes shape. They also need to be taken out for cleaning or soaking too. However, we could also insert multiple dental implants per arch and connect the denture to them. With this option, the dentures are fixed in place and never slip when you eat or speak. The implants help preserve the shape of the jaw ridge, so they can last decades or even a lifetime. You also never need to remove them for cleaning or soaking!
